F.A.Q.s Q: Why should I donate to the Children's Hospital Virtual Toy Drive?
A: Your contributions help provide children and families of Children's Hospital
with needed items that otherwise may not be available. Items are used to enhance
a patient's experience while in our hospital.
Q: How will my donation be used?
A: Your donation will be used exactly as you request. The Virtual Toy Drive
was designed so that you, the donor, can specifically designate which items
you would like to purchase for patients in Children's Hospital. All items
are used to enhance a child's experience while in Children's Hospital.
Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
A: Yes. All contributions to Greenville Hospital System's Children's Hospital
are tax deductible in full accordance with the law.
Q: Can I bring in toys/gifts to the Children's Hospital?
A: The Virtual Toy Drive was designed with the needs of the patients of Children's
Hospital in mind. Staff in all areas of Children's Hospital gave their input to
the items listed on the Web site. It is our hope that potential donors to the
Virtual Toy Drive will find a wide range of items that specifically fit the need
of our special patients. If you think you have an item or items that will benefit

Q: Can I make an undesignated gift to Children's Hospital?
A: Absolutely. Anyone can make an undesignated gift to Children's Hospital. An
undesignated gift will go to the current greatest need at Children's Hospital.
If you are interested in making such a gift, you may do so through the Children's
Hospital Virtual Toy Drive Web site.
Q: Can I visit the Children's Hospital?
A: Yes. We highly encourage anyone who would like to visit our Children's Hospital
to do so. Please e-mail us at bkinard@ghs.org to make arrangements for a guided tour.
Q: Is the Children's Hospital a not-for-profit organization?
A: Greenville Hospital System is a South Carolina not-for-profit organization exempt
from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our federal Employer Tax ID number is 57-6007863.
